Rainbow Mountain Day Tour
We start our exciting day at 4:00 am with pick up from your hotel in Cusco. Make sure you are ready with warm clothes, comfortable shoes and a lot of fun.
We head to Cusipata, a drive of approximately two hours, where a delicious breakfast buffet awaits to recharge your batteries. Taste some local dishes while you prepare for the adventure.
After breakfast, we continue by vehicle to the start of the hike. In one hour, we will arrive at the starting point to begin our ascent to the famous Colored Mountain. The hike takes about an hour and a half, and although it can be a bit challenging due to the altitude, the views are totally worth it. During the hike, don't be surprised if you come across llamas and alpacas, as they are part of the local landscape.
When you reach the viewpoint, you will have free time to enjoy the views and take the best pictures of the incredible range of colors that make this mountain famous. Take a moment to breathe and absorb the magic of the place.
Then, we will start our descent back to the parking area, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Cusipata. There, we will enjoy a buffet lunch with delicious typical dishes.
